Aetherius

As a professional sculptor, I am always looking for new and inventive ways to create art that not only captures the essence of the subject, but also serves as a commentary on the importance of sustainability and conservation. By creating this Kudu sculpture, I was able to give new life to an old and broken hydraulic pump that would have otherwise been thrown away. I sculpted the head, highlighting the gold leaf horns as a sort of majestic crown leading to the graceful curve of the neck. Every detail was meticulously crafted to showcase the natural beauty of the Kudu. The title Aetherius means “of or pertaining to the ether, the sky, or the air.”
