Invictus
The process of creating this eagle sculpture was both challenging and rewarding. I spent hours meticulously welding and shaping each metal part to bring out the majestic and fierce appearance of the eagle. The “engine” was built from an old fuel pump and was made to resemble the twelve cylinder engines of the P-51 Mustang. The contrast between the sleek lines of the metal and the intricate details of the feathers truly captures the essence of this magnificent bird of prey. I hope that this sculpture serves as a reminder of the beauty that can be found in reusing and repurposing materials, and inspires others to think creatively about how we can all contribute to a more sustainable future.
